I actually see price drops as a concerted effort to pass on lower manufacturing costs to the consumer coupled with the increased PS3 sales spike with which these price drops are meant to counter. You just outlined the 'facts' yet resort to outlandish opinion to bolster your claim. So if the PS3 had a significant price drop it wouldn't be an act of desperation?

Well I would assume there would be multiple control schemes anyway. I personally think that the more subtle approach to motion controls works well for Wii games, ie Mario Galaxy.

As an Australian the 360 has one MASSIVE flaw, really brought to the forefront by Gears 2 matchmaking. We need a bloody region filter for Multi games. Why do we have to play on an American host that then Lags horribly as the connection is across the damn ocean.... OR atleast give us a 'select the best connection' option. Jesus Its not hard, everyone must select a region when going online anyway, it doesn't even have to...

The thing that sh*ts me, is the fact that only one system gets the DLC. Are they serious? We pay $100 for the damn game (Australian) and dont get all the perks of spending our hard earned cash on the title.

True, plus they are reaching a huge casual audience with LIPS association with Australian Idol. They are doing some kind of promotion, which will certainly peak the interest of the tweens who revel in that kind of stuff.
